Account deletion

This page explains how Jadwaly users can delete their account or request deletion help, what app data is removed, and what limited records may be kept for security, billing, or legal reasons.

Effective date: May 4, 2026

Delete your account in Jadwaly

The fastest way to delete your account is inside the Jadwaly app. Open Jadwaly, go to Profile or Settings, open Danger Zone, then choose Delete Account. The app may ask you to sign in again or enter your password before deletion for security.

This option is available for Google, Apple, and email/password accounts.

Request deletion help

If you cannot access the app, email contact@nagakiba.me with the subject line Jadwaly account deletion. Please send the request from the email address used for your Jadwaly account, or include enough information for us to verify ownership before deleting anything.

Data deleted

  • Your Jadwaly account record and Firebase user account.
  • Your profile and academic setup details.
  • Courses, timetable sessions, schedule events, and tasks.
  • Notes, uploaded materials, generated study content, chats, and progress.
  • Document previews, extracted text, search/index records, and related cached study data where controlled by Jadwaly.
  • Local app cache on the device where you perform the deletion.

Data that may be kept

Some records may be retained when required for security, payment, tax, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, debugging, or legal compliance. This can include app store or payment-provider records, transaction history, anonymous diagnostics, abuse logs, and backup copies waiting for normal backup expiry.

Jadwaly does not use retained deletion-related records to rebuild your study workspace after account deletion.

Retention period

In-app deletion starts immediately. Most active Jadwaly app data is removed during the deletion flow. Backup, security, diagnostic, and billing-related records may remain for up to 30 days unless a longer period is required by law, payment provider rules, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or tax and accounting obligations.
